Beyond the Hoop & Hoops4Hope
After three long months at sea, the athletic shoes collected by Beyond the Hoop arrived in Harare, Zimbabwe.
Mark Crandall, New York director for Hoops4Hope, for whom the shoes were collected, happened to be in Zimbabwe when the shoes arrived.
Beyond the Hoop collected more than 2000 pairs of shoes for kids who play sports mainly in their bare feet. Now, thanks to many of you who donated, these kids will have athletic footwear to play games.
